Academic Requirements:
- Minimum Marks: At least CGPA 2.5 out of 4 or 62.5% marks in the annual system.
- Higher Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates with M.Phil, MS, or higher qualifications in the relevant field.
- Grades Allowed: No 3rd Division or Grade D in any academic level. Only one 2nd Division or Grade C is allowed throughout your academic career.
- Recognized Institutions: Only candidates who graduated from HEC/PEC-recognized universities are eligible.
- Degree Requirement: Candidates must have completed a 4-year degree in the required field. Those who have not completed a 4-year degree are not eligible.
- ISSB Rejection: Candidates rejected by ISSB for Pakistan Military Academy or equivalent courses, or those rejected once for postgraduate entry, can apply again for postgraduate courses only.

Further Selection Of LCC
- Final Medical: A detailed medical examination for ISSB-recommended candidates will be conducted at the nearest CMH (Combined Military Hospital).
- Interview: Candidates recommended by ISSB will attend an interview with the GHQ Selection Board in Rawalpindi.
- Final Selection: The final selection is made at GHQ based on the candidate’s overall performance.
- Training Period: Selected candidates will undergo 6 months of training at PMA Kakul.
- Service Bond: Finally selected candidates must sign a bond to serve in the Army for a minimum of 17 years.
- Grant of Commission: After successfully completing the 6-month basic training at PMA Kakul, candidates are commissioned in the Army with the rank of Captain.
- Stipend: During training at PMA, all selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of approximately Rs. 61,000/-.

Ineligibility Conditions:
The following are ineligible for LCC Registration.
- Candidate Twice screened out by ISSB.
- Candidates who appear for the ISSB test within a 120-day gap of the previous appearance in ISSB.
- Who Dismissed, Removed, or Debarred from any government services including the Armed Forces.
- Convicted in a Court of Law for any heinous offense (to be ascertained by the competent military authority).
- Declared UNFIT permanently by the Appeal Medical Board (AMB).
- A candidate who Withdrawn discharged, resigned, or purchase of commission from any Armed Forces officers Academy, or from any Armed Forces Training Institution on any ground.
- Candidates Medically unfit (due to Hepatitis B & C).
- The candidates who Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college or any institution on disciplinary grounds.
