College of Aeronautical Engineering (CAE) is an institution located at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Risalpur, KPK. The candidate gets an education in Aeronautical Engineering at (NUST) Risalpur. Aeronautical Engineering is the study and development of aircraft and space or machines that fly in the air.

Candidates who want to join the PAF CAE course can register till 16 February 2024. The test date is mentioned on the Registration slip of all candidates. PAF Initial Test for CAE will be conducted on a computer. MCQs type questions from the Verbal Intelligence Test, Non-Verbal Intelligence Test, and Academic Test of PAF.

NOTE:- Candidates 18+ years of age must have a smart I.D card. Without the smart cards, candidates will not be allowed to Test. Simple CNIC is not acceptable from October 2020 onward.

6. Recommendation Letter (Only recommended candidates will receive ISSB recommendation Latter)
7. Final Medical Test at  CMB Lahore (5 days medical test Procedure)

Eligibility Criteria Of CAE

eligibility criteria of the PAF CAE Course are as follows:

• Gender: Male / Female
• Nationality: Pakistani Citizens only
• Marital status: Unmarried
• Age: 22 Years
• Height: Minimum age should be 163 cm (male) and  147 cm (Female)
• Education: Matric 1st division and F.Sc minimum 65% marks in the following combination.
  • F.SC Pre-Engineering as chemistry as a subject
  • A’ Level with subjects Chemistry, Physics, and Math

PAF CAE is a permanent commission post and the training period is 3 years at the College of Aeronautical Engineering for a B.Sc engineering degree  (NUST).

PAF CAE Initial Test Pattern & Syllabus

The initial Test for the PAF CAE course is online at PAF Selection centers. PAF Online test for CAE is as follows.

• Verbal Intelligence Test
• Non-Verbal Intelligence Test
• Academic Test

CAE test includes three portions and starts from the verbal intelligence test after clear 1st st 2nd will be Non-Verbal and the last one is the academic Portion.

In PAF Verbal intelligence Test analogies are presented verbally. In this test, a candidate has to use his verbal reasoning skills to solve problems. in Verbal Intelligence Test each Question has 4 options. It’s your job to figure out the right option.

Non-Verbal Intelligence Test

PAF non-verbal intelligence test is to measure nonverbal reasoning. Non-verbal intelligence tests are also called diagrammatic or abstract reasoning tests. PAF Nonverbal Intelligence Test is to check a candidate’s ability to understand and analyze visual information and solve problems using visual reasoning.

CAE Registration Procedure

For online registration of CAE Visit joinpaf.gov.pk and click on Apply button. A section will appear for registration Inter your National Identity Card Number and Submit. A form will appear for further details fill out the complete form accurately and Submit the request.

Documents Required At PAF Selection Centre On Test Day

The following documents are required at PAF Selection Centre on Test day.

• Original certificate, detailed Marks Sheet of Matric//F.Sc or Equivalent Must bring original Matric Detailed Mark Sheet.
• Matric and FSC or equivalent, Original Result Card is necessary.
• Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) for the age of 18 years and above. Computerized Form “B” & with Guardian’s Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) (Father or Mother) for under 18 candidates.
• One set of attested photocopies of all the above-mentioned documents.
• 3x  Passport size colored photos must be duly attested (front and back) by the Principal, Class-1 Gazetted Officer.
• Original and one photocopy of the NOT RECOMMENDED letter of ISSB are required ( Only for Repeater Candidates).

NOTE:- Old National Identity Card and Form “B” will not be accepted. Only Smart National Identity Card is Required for PAF Registration and Verification.
