Private Sector Affiliated and Attached Colleges for admissions in MBBS Open Merit (Session 2022-23)
Guidelines and Instructions for Candidates
| ➤ | Errors and omissions are accepted. |
| ➤ | Candidates who passed their F.Sc (Pre-Medical)/HSSC or Equivalent Exam last year (2022) and are now applying for admissions in medical/dental colleges for the session 2023-24, are informed that their MARKS and percentage are considered for merit calculation for admission in medical & dental colleges for the session 2023-24. (Calculated in NUMS Result 2023) |
| ➤ | College will contact the candidates as per their merit position in each college. Candidate will be informed about selection who are on merit list (as per sequence of aggregate merit) through email and telephone. Applicants will report to that college for admission along with original identity and academic documents. |
| ➤ | Confirmation of admission will be subject to the scrutiny and verification of original identity and academic documents by the respective College. |
| ➤ | Any student whose degree is not duly verified by the granting institution or credentials are found to be false or forged shall have the admission terminated with immediate effect. |
| ➤ | A student who presents his/her Matriculation and Intermediate Results or presented a false document shall be barred from applying to any medical or dental college in Pakistan, in the future. Provided further, a student whose admission is terminated on account of having submitted a forged or false document at the time of seeking admission shall have any fee paid to the college forfeited and deposited by the college with the Commission, and which shall be used by the Commission for granting scholarships to deserving student on need basis. |
| ➤ | There shall be no admission which violates the fundamental principle of merit and all admissions shall be strictly on merit as per the merit criteria announced by the college National University of Medical Sciences, Islamabad. and pursuant to the fundamental principle of merit as mandatorily applicable under Article 37{c) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973. |
| ➤ | A student when accepting admission to a college shall be under an obligation to disclose to the college if a prior admission has been accepted by them to any other college, and such student shall prior to accepting such latter admission must in writing inform the prior college of cancellation of their acceptance with a copy to the designated email of the Authority. Failure by a student to cancel the prior acceptance of admission shall render all admission offers of the student as void and the student shall be ineligible for admission. All colleges shall ensure that they properly apprise and educate the applicant students of this provision as part of their admissions policy, prospectus and at the time of making an offer of admission. |
| ➤ | If two or more students have exactly the same merit up to five decimal points, the students position in the merit shall be listed by age with the student older in age being placed higher than the student younger in age. |
| ➤ | The admissions in MBBS shall be concluded by all colleges by XX/XX/20XX. (Date will be updated once NUMS Result 2024 announced) |
